So, did this for fun a few weeks back…
There’s a nice piece of software on iOS called “Luma“. I’d recommend grabbing it and having a look. It can be found on the AppStore.

So, it captures a 3D scene by taking multiple pictures and comping them together to form a 3D model.
This is a model of Jack (my Beagle) while he was sleeping…

I’ve taken a section of this model and added it to the gitlab repo. Feel free to take a look if it interests you.

It’s worth noting that the 3D model is a very long way from optimal. I’ll be explaining how to optimise 3D models in a later tutorial
