LeiaPix.com is a site I found while looking for ways to generate AI animations. As an example…
This isn’t so much “AI” as a way of taking 2D images and turning them into pseudo 3D animations by extracting depth information from the 2D image.
The site is https://convert.leiapix.com/upload

Very simple to use; just drag’n’drop an image (or photo) into the Upload area and use “Convert 2D Image to 3D”. This extracts depth information from the image and gives you a 3D animation.
You’ll need to do a free trial and it’ll give you 100 credits to start with so you can test it out, although I purchased 1000 credits almost straight away as I found the software very helpful.
From what I’ve seen, it works best with images that have obvious depth to them. Objects with a distant background work well.
Images with detail in the background that merges with the foreground don’t work so well as the software can’t figure out what’s ‘behind’ the foreground subject
The animation below is a good example. I made the Robot image using https://playground.com and then exported the image and dropped it in LeiaPix.com
The foreground stands out from the background and the background doesn’t have a whole lot of detail. Seems to work nicely…
